Additional Information

This revival series witnessed four teams contesting three heats each (six in total), leading to a final and third place play-off. Qualification for these later programmes was by Round-Robin points accumulated over the first six programmes, with 1pt being awarded for a win. The ultimate prize was the Billy J. Smith Cup which was in recognition of the original It's A Knockout co-host Billy J. Smith (1946-2019).

The series was filmed in the space of one week at a purpose built studio in Kuala Lumpur - dubbed 'The Knockerdome' - which one week before was used to shoot a German version of the series. The decision to shoot in Malaysia was arrived at as insurance costs were too high to produce a series of this type in Australia. Consequently, 60 Australian contestants and 10 cast and crew travelled to the location, where episodes were generally shot at night because of the intense heat during the day.
